The Community

One hundred sixty-eight residences, one shared landscape.

An established condominium community defined by its shared landscape and long history of golf, Royal Crest brings together residential living, open space, and shared amenities.

The Neighborhood

A wooded corner of Walpole.

Set across 79 wooded acres, Royal Crest's twenty-one residential buildings are woven among fairways, Rainbow Pond, mature trees, and open green spaces. The result is a community of 168 condominium units that feels more like a private park than a typical condominium development.

Many residents have lived here for years. Others are drawn to Royal Crest for its established character, thoughtful layout, location, and residential pace.

Architecture

Built into the landscape.

Royal Crest was developed in three phases between 1975 and 1980, with a Tudor-inspired architectural style carried throughout the property. Steep rooflines, brick and timber detailing, and varied building placement give the buildings a consistent architectural character.

The buildings follow the contours of the land, set at varied angles and spacing, with open green areas, mature trees, and seasonal plantings.

Phase I residences were built without garages and include two deeded parking spaces per unit. Phases II and III include garages.

The Grounds

Rainbow Pond.

Rainbow Pond sits alongside the ninth hole and has long been a defining feature of Royal Crest. Rainbow Pond Drive winds through the community beneath mature trees and alongside the fairways, with flowering trees, seasonal gardens, and views across the golf course found throughout the property. From spring blossoms and summer hydrangeas to autumn foliage and evergreen winter landscapes, the grounds change with the seasons, while herons, deer, swans, geese, and wild turkeys remain a familiar part of daily life.
